30A Travel Guide
Hey Friends!
I am finally sharing with you my 30a travel guide! Ross and I love this area and have been here twice in the last year so I thought I would share some info with you in case you are wanting to plan a trip! 30a is the highway that runs through several small towns in Florida. Some of those being Seaside, Seacrest, Watercolor, Watersound, Rosemary beach, etc. So when people say 30a they are referencing an area and not an exact town if that makes sense. It is the perfect spot for a family vacation or just the most relaxing vacation ever. A lot of people we have met here grew up going to this area on family vacations, we hope to be able to start this tradition when we have a family of our own someday. We have gone in both May and August and both times were beautiful.
Where We Stay:
Both times we have rented a condo through airbnb. We have stated at the Villages in Seacrest both times! Since it has just been the two of us a one bedroom condo has been more than enough, but if you are coming with a family a house might be a better option for you. We loved having a little kitchen in our condo so we can make sandwiches for lunch to bring down to the beach. The Villages at Seacrest has two pools, a trolley to take you to and from the beach, restaurants and coffee shops on the first floor and the cutest little common area where they have live music and you can rent bikes. This is in no way sponsored (I wish! lol). To get from Seacrest to Seaside you have to drive. So we usually rent a car so we can make all the stops.
Places To Eat:
Our #1 favorite place to eat is La Crema in Rosemary beach! We go here multiple times on vacation. It is a tapas resturant and they are known for their dessert. Get the seafood paella and the chocolate lava cake with ice cream and thank me later. They also have awesome sangria. We love staying in Seacrest because it is a short 3 minute walk to Rosemary which is personally my favorite area for dinner. Other places we love include:
Pescado - this is a roof top restaurant and it is AMAZING. The seafood and steak is so so good and the views are even better. Get there early to put your name in because the place is BUSY.
Paradis - Also in Rosemary and they also have amazing steak and seafood. A little fancier. We went here for our anniversary.
Georges- A great place for lunch and this is close to Alys beach.
Bud and Alleys Taco bar - this is in seaside and a great place to stop and grab tacos and margs for lunch!
Amavida Coffee- we walk to the Amavida Coffee shop in Rosemary every morning for coffee. They also have homemade pastries if you wanted to do that for breakfast.
Froseβ Truck - You have to stop at the Froseβ truck in Seaside! So yummy
The Great Southern Cafe - a great breakfast place in Seaside
Charlies Donut shop - There is one in the Villages in Seacrest as well as in Alys beach!
There are also tons of food trucks in Seaside to check out!
What To Do
Ross and I are 100% beach people. We love relaxing on the beach. Ross loves to snorkel. So thatβs what we do most days. I also love walking around Seaside and looking in all of the different shops. Alys beach has fun shops too! You could also rent bikes and bike around all of the fun towns. The beaches are seriously amazing. Ill insert some pictures below.
I will also link below everything I wore on our trip last time! I hope this was helpful.
Xoxo,
